OK so here's the story, here's Mitsy
on a good day in Lyme Regis Summer 2003

The car was a standard 1.3i Rover Cooper with just over 60k on the clock, bought
as one lady owner, who wanted a newer cooper, with the sports pack arches we
knew the car had a bit or rust, and that would need to be done but it was fine
to get me back in the habit.
Mitsy following the rear sub frame collapsing was sent away to Milton Keynes Mini Spare, where she would be restored with all the new mini parts and re-sprayed. The work was due to start in April 2004 and be completed by about the end of Summer. We had met with Steve Adams of Milton Keynes Mini Spares twice before delivering the car, to agree costing's and how the work would commence. Our Local Mechanic took Mitsy up to Milton Keynes Mini Spares on the back of his truck and we thought, great we should have her back by the end of the summer and if it all works out we might evening get good drive or two before autumn sets in. So Steve has the car in his garage (or shed) just outside Milton Keynes, and I am calling to see hoe the works getting on.
On 15th May we decided to go and see the work. and found that work had indead started, as you can see from the picture below. the wings had been cut off, and the doors removed.

Follwoing the May visit I made lots of phone calls to check the progress of the work and was told "it's going ok" "and No you can't come and
see the car, it's off being Blasted."
we get to September 2004 (6-8 weeks after the work was to be competed)

Spot the difference, NOPE neither can I.
so there is the proof if you need it Steve Adams of

Does not get the work done on time..... don't get me wrong
The Guy's work appears good, the cars I saw he said had worked on were well sprayed, tuned
well. But I do not recommend, just taking his word. Get it all in writing with dates and
give him no Money up front. I would recomend anyone thinking of using Milton Keynes Mini Spares can contact me
for a more detailed account.

December 2004, we started to get serious, setting new dates and contracts to compete the work. These however were not met. and so Milton Keynes Mini Spares had (once we had the correct proof) "Breached the Contract"
After many phone calls and letters, recovery of the car was arranged, and many assurances that all of the car would be given back to us (In quite a number of boxes) the car was recovered 13-2-2005 from Milton Keynes, and returned to High Wycombe for the Process to begin again, Expect about 25% of the car was missing, or damaged!!!
waiting to be collected

Returned to High Wycombe (The rest of the car in my Volvo Estate) It took ayear to make the car look this good!
